The Journal of Urban Mobility, launched under the EIT Urban Mobility Doctoral Training Network (DTN), has achieved a major milestone with its latest Impact Factor increasing to 6.1, up from 2.7 in the previous cycle.
This Impact Factor reflects how often a journal’s articles are cited in other research, showcasing the journal’s growing relevance and influence in the academic and practitioner communities. This significant rise places the journal in the first Quartile (Q1) across three major subject categories: Geography, Regional & Urban Planning, and Transport.
Fully open-access and cross-disciplinary in scope, the Journal of Urban Mobility provides a platform for academics, practitioners, businesses, and city leaders to advance research and innovation in sustainable urban mobility. Since its launch, it has published over 115 articles across seven volumes, including special issues on themes such as the 15-Minute City, Street Experiments, and Knowledge-Based Urban Mobility Solutions.
The journal continues to establish itself as a key reference in the field, contributing to the broader mission of accelerating the transition towards more liveable urban environments.
