“Today, more than ever, Tractebel is your ideal engineering and consulting partner for the design and implementation of sustainable, profitable and reliable projects anywhere in the world”.

These were the words of Sven Vlassenroot, Project manager Smart Mobility & ITS at Tractebel, when he introduced the company at last month’s Innovation Hub West Core-partner’s meeting. Tractebel’s solutions and methodologies improve the quality of life of citizens within the urban environment. Their case study City 2030 reflects on the future of cities by 2030 taking into account global urban trends. It includes a classification scale based on diverse typologies of city with the aims of understating possible pathways developed by their key experts from Urban.

How futureproof is a city when it comes e.g. to mobility or energy? The 360° City Scan measures how evolved cities are today and how well they can withstand future challenges. This unique tool maps out the overall performance of a city in terms of infrastructure readiness and service efficiency taking into account six different perspectives: circularity, inclusiveness, attractiveness, productivity, resilience and connectivity.

TracToZero is their integrated approach based on a tridimensional assessment of your mobility needs: a wide range of studies to determine the optimal modes of transportation, in relation with energy and infrastructure locations helping clients meet their CO2 emissions targets.

We are proud to have Tractebel as a core partner in Innovation Hub West!
