EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Technology and Innovation (EIT), a body of the European Union, has released its annual “Highlights Report” for 2024. The report spotlights a selection of projects and programmes that took place across the last year, as well as highlighting key interactions with stakeholders across Europe.

The annual Highlights Report offers an opportunity to reflect on the previous year’s impacts by shedding light on the activities that took place across the multifaceted organisation.

Of the annual Highlights Report, Maria Tsavachidis, CEO of EIT Urban Mobility, explains “This report offers just a glimpse of the projects, initiatives and investments we have managed or participated in over the past year. As we look ahead to future challenges, we also celebrate the milestones of our past. Marking our five-year anniversary, we reflect with gratitude on the many partnerships we have forged along the way.”

From the consolidation of educational offerings into a unified Urban Mobility Explained, to an investment portfolio that is now larger than ever; the last year of EIT Urban Mobility has been one of growth and innovation. Additionally, the report introduces, for the first time, the ‘core topics’ for the organisation — twelve different areas in which the EIT Urban Mobility community is uniquely positioned to address and create meaningful impact.
