The startups for the 2025 Market Readiness Accelerators have been chosen. The objective of these programmes is to equip early-stage mobility startups with the expertise to validate their business models, achieve product-market fit and build a solid foundation for fundraising and scalable growth.
EIT Urban Mobility’s accelerators are designed with a variety of startups’ needs and expertise in mind and delivered in several thematic areas: future mobility, inclusive mobility and smart mobility.
Raül Feliu, Startup Services Manager at EIT Urban Mobility’s: “Early-stage mobility startups face a tough journey, from securing funding and proving there is a demand for their solution, to gaining the visibility needed to attract partners and investors. At EIT Urban Mobility, we have supported over 500 startups across Europe since 2020 in different initiatives to meet these challenges. Our Market Readiness Accelerators are not just programmes, they are launchpads built with founders at the centre, designed to close the most critical early-stage gaps. We help entrepreneurs by providing the tools, connections, and exposure they need to build momentum and set the grounds for scaling up their business with confidence.”
In addition to the opportunity to upskill and learn over six months, the Market Readiness Accelerators come with €30,000 worth of support services, a €2,500 grant and tickets to Tomorrow.Mobility 2025, an impact assessment and access to EIT Urban Mobility funding opportunities. Furthermore, startups also get access to valuable matchmaking opportunities with cities and industry partners, fostering collaborations and strategic partnerships. The accessibility of lab testing allows for real-world validation and optimisation of products and services, all possible through EIT Urban Mobility’s extensive EU network of partners.
Raül Feliu adds: “In a time when venture funding is tightening across the continent, resilience, visibility and credibility are more important than ever. That’s where we come. Through tailored mentoring, funding opportunities, and exposure to our EU-wide network, we aim to help business-focused founders cut through the noise. We are looking for brave entrepreneurs running companies which are aligned with the EU Green Deal and our commitment to create (measurable) impact.”
