Startups Growth Lab, powered by EIT Urban Mobility, is an online mobility startup platform built to support mobility founders in finding opportunities and connections efficiently. It has now officially welcomed its 1,300 member, a major milestone for this growing network of mobility entrepreneurs, now the largest community of its kind in Europe.

“Startups Growth Lab is the go-to platform for mobility entrepreneurs across Europe. It enables us to stay close to founders, understand their needs, and support their growth through access to tailored opportunities, networks, and knowledge.” — Daniel Serra, Director of Impact Ventures, EIT Urban Mobility

Evolving with the needs of the community

With over two years of activity, the platform has continuously evolved to better meet the needs of startups. Its development has been shaped by ongoing feedback and active input from entrepreneurs, allowing new features and improvements to be closely aligned with the real challenges faced by mobility startups.

As a result of this ongoing evolution, founders from across Europe are already experiencing the value of the Startups Growth Lab through its tailored support and community-driven approach. From Portugal to Poland, mobility entrepreneurs are leveraging the platform’s resources to strengthen their business models, improve investor readiness, and expand their professional networks.

One such example is the Investor Pitch Training, a session designed to improve how founders present their business to potential investors. Aigars Lauzis, founder of Be Triton (Latvia), shared:

“It was great. It shook me up and gave me another perspective. I’ve had many pitch coaches – this felt really thorough and affective. I went away with real feedback and ideas on how to change my pitch to make it better.”

Other members have leveraged the platform to attend key industry events and engage directly with investors. Jérôme Communal, CEO and Co-founder of Eclair (France), attended VivaTech through a free ticket offered on the platform:

“The highlight was definitely the side event hosted by The Moove Lab and EIT Urban Mobility at Roole’s HQ. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with both investors and key players in the mobility space. I met some great people there. Thanks again for making that possible.”

Meanwhile, founders like Luis Gonzalez, founder of Concatena OÜ (Estonia), have used the AI-powered matchmaking tool to connect with peers facing similar challenges and explore shared solutions:

“It’s hard to find someone interested in sharing their experiences for free. This was good match, even from the same city.“

Supporting scalable and resilient ventures

The mobility startup platform continues its mission to support startups in navigating the complexities of the mobility sector. It does so by providing access to industry news, key events, and curated opportunities in funding, market access, and upskilling. It also offers spaces for peer exchange.

As it grows, the platform is increasingly well-positioned to further support European founders in building scalable and resilient mobility ventures.
