Kick-Off

From 12th to 14th October 2023, EIT Urban Mobility Master School welcomed the 49 new students of its programmes on the vibrant campus of KTH in Stockholm!

Experienced business coaches curated urban mobility-related challenges, inviting our students to think innovatively and find solutions to real-world problems. With Stockholm as a playground, one of Europe’s fastest-developing cities in terms of mobility, the students participated in site visits to three developing urban and commuting areas. Engaging keynotes and speeches also featured industry experts and coaches who shared constructive insights and inspiring concepts. The students could thus integrate all this newfound knowledge into their challenge solutions.

Next, calling on to their entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, the 10 work groups took the stage and pitched 10 brilliant ideas to a discerning jury. An experience that, we hope, instilled in them the essential skills of idea generation, structuring and confident pitching.

Icing on the cake, the Graduation Ceremony for the freshly accomplished graduates took place at the same place and time, creating invaluable opportunities for our first-year students to connect, network and share experiences with their peers.

The EIT Urban Mobility Master School also had the pleasure of welcoming its second cohort of students to wrap up two years of dedication and hard work witnessed by proud professors, families and friends.

The students graduated with a double master’s degree from seven European universities as well as an EIT Label Certificate.
