EIT Urban Mobility is joining the e-Salon: Clean Mobility Conference in Prague on 13 November at PVA Expo Praha.

The conference is part of the e‑Salon Fair, showcasing clean mobility, advanced technologies and e‑mobility solutions. Its 6th edition in 2024 attracted remarkable public interest, welcoming 26,657 visitors.

The Clean Mobility Conference will address key challenges and innovations in clean transport, including sustainable urban mobility, zero-emission logistics, EV fleet management, micromobility, battery ecosystems and more. This year’s edition of the Clean Mobility Conference will feature two stages for the first time, reflecting the event’s growth and its commitment to covering both high-level policy debates and practical urban solutions.

Europe’s clean mobility transformation

The Main Stage will host high-level discussions uniting experts and innovators from across Europe to explore strategies driving the transition to sustainable transport. Discussions will address not only the technological and operational aspects of this transition but also the policies, funding mechanisms and collaborative frameworks that make large-scale implementation possible across borders. The programme will also explore the growing role of micromobility in shaping sustainable cities and the evolving regulatory landscape across Europe and the V4 region. Together, these topics underscore how international cooperation, shared research and harmonised standards are driving progress towards a connected, low-carbon transport future.

One of the highlights of the Main Stage will be the panel on battery reuse and recycling, prepared in collaboration with the Czech Battery Cluster. With a strong technical focus, this expert-led session will also address regulatory developments, standardisation efforts and cross-border cooperation initiatives that aim to build a more resilient and sustainable battery ecosystem. All Main Stage discussions will run
in English with Czech translation provided.

Local perspectives on sustainable urban transport

The Urban Solutions Stage will spotlight local perspectives and practical approaches to implementing clean mobility in cities. Tailored for mayors, city officials and transport planners, this stage will provide a platform to exchange hands-on experiences and innovative ideas from across Central Europe. In particular, the sessions will cover strategies for developing charging infrastructure in Czech and Slovak cities, the integration of charging systems with building energy management under the EPBD directive and the transformation of municipal fleets and shared mobility models. Together, these panels will showcase how cities across Central Europe are implementing innovative, scalable solutions to advance sustainable urban transport. The panels on the Urban Solutions Stage will be held in the Czech language only.
