We´re excited to announce the eleven new projects awarded under the SME Market Expansion Call 2026, welcoming a new cohort of innovative SMEs to the EIT Urban Mobility community.
The call is designed to promote business growth and market expansion, encouraging the replication and scaling of successful solutions in new regions or sectors. As part of the Agile Innovation portfolio, these projects are designed to be fast-paced and impact-driven, with a duration of seven months and funding of EUR 60,000 per project.
The projects reflect a strong geographical reach, with SMEs and end clients spanning multiple regions across Europe and engaging with cities, public authorities, and private sector stakeholders. The selected projects address key urban mobility challenges, including mobility data management, public transport, urban logistics, electrification, and health-related mobility solutions.
Each project includes a real-life demonstration phase, where solutions are tested with end clients in operational environments for a minimum of two weeks, ensuring practical validation and testing market readiness.

Eleven projects have been awarded under the SME Market Expansion Call 2026:
ARTIL (France) will work with the City of Lisbon (Portugal) to deploy StreetCO / StreetNav, an inclusive navigation solution that maps pedestrian accessibility and provides obstacle-free routing for different user needs.
Aviant AS (Norway) will partner with Farmasiet (Norway) to deliver a last-mile logistics solution using autonomous electric drones for efficient and reliable medicine delivery from pharmacies to suburban and semi-urban areas.
EYYA Group Ltd (United Kingdom) will collaborate with Fenix Rail Systems Ltd (United Kingdom) to deploy an AI-based system for automated external train inspection, improving operational efficiency in rail depots.
Healthy Cities (Spain) will work with Autoridat del Transporte Metropolitá of Barcelona (Spain) to develop a digital tool that quantifies the health and economic impacts of mobility interventions, supporting evidence-based decision-making.
HYBA (Italy) will partner with ITB Auto SRL (Italy) to advance a modular and swappable EV battery system designed to improve flexibility and reduce costs for fleet electrification and reduce charging infrastructure dependence.
OpenMove (Italy) will scale with Arriva d.o.o., Kranj (Slovenia) to deploy a Whatsapp-based conversational AI mobility assistant and ticketing solution that simplifies public transport access through chat-based interfaces to enhance public transport access.
SC Camera Pictures 2019 SRL (Romania) will expand with Dentstore (Bulgaria) to deliver a same-day intra-city courier service for time-critical healthcare and medical deliveries.
Telraam (Belgium) will partner with the City of Mechelen (Belgium) to enhance traffic monitoring through AI-powered classification of cargo bikes and urban logistics flows.
Tictactrip (France) will collaborate with Marietton Développement (Germany) to integrate two German and Austrian rail service providers into a multimodal travel platform, enabling seamless booking across transport modes.
V-Locker AG (Switzerland) will work with BAM Infra Nederland (Netherlands) to deploy a smart automated bicycle parking solution for high-demand event locations.
Replan GmbH (Germany) will partner with the NIIMO Initiative (Germany) to expand a mobility planning platform using digital twins and simulation tools to support policy and infrastructure decisions.
The selected projects will run from April to October 2026, during which SMEs will work closely with their end clients to validate and scale their solutions in real-life environments. EIT Urban Mobility looks forward to supporting this new cohort and to following the development of solutions that address key urban mobility challenges across Europe.
