Design mobility solutions that promote healthy ageing and urban inclusion.

The Urban Mobility and Healthy Ageing Summer School equips students with the skills to design inclusive, age-friendly mobility systems. Hosted in Lisbon (Portugal) and Barcelona (Spain), the programme explores how cities can support independence and reduce mobility decline for older adults.

Participants will explore key topics such as intrinsic capacity, accessibility, and health-oriented urban design. The summer school begins with an entry phase focused on the fundamentals of ageing and mobility. It continues with an exit school, where students develop innovative, real-world solutions through mentorship.

This summer school welcomes international participants. They will be joined by students from the EIT Urban Mobility Master School, creating a rich and interdisciplinary learning environment.

Partners involved: University of Lisbon, Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
