Smart Mobility Accelerator
The programme will provide:
- Close collaboration with three renowned accelerators in the smart mobility ecosystem spanning a wide-reaching geographic landscape;
- Exposure and networking opportunities with industry-leading original equipment manufacturers and tier-one companies;
- Unlocking your company’s sustainability potential through engaging in workshops and other exciting opportunities;
- Possibility to test and further develop products in our testing facilities;
- Access to investment opportunities including EIT Urban Mobility’s funding instruments.
Why join?
The Smart Mobility Accelerator programme has been designed for future leaders in the transportation and smart mobility revolution, interested in engaging in an intensive six-month programme with one of our three partners, spanning the smart mobility ecosystem from Sweden and Germany to Israel.
Our programme offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to help startups and scale-ups establish their company in the smart mobility ecosystem. Participants will learn from experienced industry experts and gain access to resources such as mentorship, funding channels and networking opportunities. Participants also have the opportunity to test and further develop their own products in one of our proof of concept centres.
With the Smart Mobility Accelerator programme, participants develop the skills and understanding needed to make a real impact in the ever-changing smart mobility landscape.

Eligibility criteria
- The startup team must have at least two full time employees (not a single founder); Team members do not necessarily need to be connected to monetary compensation;
- Startup incorporated in EU or EU associated countries according to the official list of countries by the European Union and third countries associated to Horizon Europe. The registration certificate will be required to participate in the programme;
- Incorporation date must be after 31/12/2013.

How do I apply to the Accelerator programme?
Click here and you will be redirected to the application platform of EIT Urban Mobility.
After creating and validating your account you will be able to access the portal. If you already have an account, you will be able to log in right away.
Please log into your account, start a new application and select the programme you want to apply for. You will then be able to fill in all compulsory fields and submit all necessary documents.
The application can be saved and edited until the deadline. Please make sure to submit your application before the deadline.

Which type of acceleration services does each partner offer?
The DMS consortium is a collaborative service consisting of Drive TLV, Startup Autobahn and MobilityXLab. Once accepted to the programme you will have access to all resources of our partners. This will range from networking opportunities with relevant stakeholders, to exposure, to industry-leading original equipment manufacturers and tier one companies, as well as access to our product testing facilities.
Which countries are eligible?
Startups incorporated in EU27 or EU-associated countries are eligible. This includes the following countries:
European Union member states (EU27): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
Horizon Europe associated countries: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Tunisia, Türkiye, Ukraine, Morocco and the United Kingdom.
Am I eligible for the EIT Urban Mobility Accelerator programme and what are the criteria for startup selection?
Any startup fulfilling the above-listed eligibility criteria can apply to the programme. For the selection process, the startups will have to fulfill further due diligence requirements. For instance, gender equality is met if the startup has a female founder or co-founder, or 30% female employment with a female at C-level or a 50/50 employment balance. All criteria can be found in the Guide for applicants.
