The Cargo Bike Revolution Summer School is a master-level programme where you will co-create, design and test innovative, scalable cargo bike solutions for live urban challenges in Ghent and Berlin. Through hands-on fieldwork, expert-led sessions and interdisciplinary teamwork, you will explore last-mile delivery, local commerce and user-centred design with on-street observation, stakeholder interviews and rapid prototyping while developing viable business models that balance environmental, social and economic impact and define a clear path to implementation. Working closely with academics, industry experts and city stakeholders, you will transform city-specific problems into pilot-ready entrepreneurial concepts that contribute to cleaner, more liveable cities. Join an international cohort and learn how to move from insight to design to delivery in two leading cargo bike cities.

This summer school welcomes international participants, and is well suited for master and PhD students, as well as professionals.

Drive innovation in sustainable urban mobility through entrepreneurship.

The Innov4Mobility Summer school is an intensive programme designed for bachelor students and recent graduates from RIS countries who want to tackle real urban mobility challenges through entrepreneurship.

Taking place from 8 to 12 September and hosted in Aveiro, Portugal, the programme combines challenge-based learning, innovation tools, and hands-on teamwork. Participants collaborate with cities, industry experts, startups, and researchers to develop practical, market-oriented solutions addressing topics such as public transport, urban logistics, mobility data, electrification, and health.

The Sustainable Mobility in Car Dependent Regions Summer School offers a unique opportunity to explore the challenges of car dependency. It focuses on advancing sustainable mobility in urban regions through real-world learning and collaboration.

Taking place from 4 to 12 September 2025 in Bari, Italy, the programme brings together academic researchers, industry experts, and public sector stakeholders. Topics covered include active travel, electric mobility, shared transport systems, and innovative urban logistics.

Participants follow tailored tracks designed for both undergraduate students and professionals. The programme includes targeted learning and collaborative teamwork based on real-world business cases.

Participants engage in lectures, panel discussions, and group projects. The summer school concludes with team presentations to a jury, offering feedback and career development support.

The Smart Cities Summer School empowers students and professionals to design smart, sustainable mobility solutions through innovation and entrepreneurship. Hosted in Tartu (Estonia) and Riga (Latvia), this immersive programme bridges the knowledge gap, supports hands-on problem-solving, and fosters a spirit of collaboration.

Participants engage in challenge-based learning while exploring emerging trends in smart mobility and connected urban systems. Backed by EIT Urban Mobility, the summer school nurtures future-oriented thinking and strengthens international academic partnerships.

This summer school welcomes international participants. They will be joined by students from the EIT Urban Mobility Master School, creating a rich and interdisciplinary learning environment.

Participants engage with local ecosystems and collaborate with industry leaders to develop real-world solutions. The programme supports skill-building and creative problem-solving in future mobility careers.

The Inclusive Mobility Summer School is a master-level programme focused on inclusive urban mobility. Hosted in Ghent (Belgium) and Rennes (France), it offers a transformative learning journey exploring accessibility and equity in transport systems.

Participants dive into real-world challenges ranging from physical accessibility to affordability. Through entrepreneurial thinking and hands-on methods, they co-create sustainable solutions that respond to the mobility needs of diverse urban populations.
