With different schools designed for master and bachelor level learners, our Summer and Winter schools share a common mission: to empower the next generation of leaders in urban mobility with the knowledge, skills and mindset to drive positive change.

CityMinds Summer School in Thessaloniki, Greece – Second edition
Design innovative and entrepreneurial solutions for smart urban mobility and city logistics.
The CityMinds 2 Summer School is a 5-day intensive Summer school in Thessaloniki is designed to equip undergraduate students from RIS countries with innovation and entrepreneurial skills in Smart Urban Mobility and City Logistics. Through challenge-based learning, site visits and design thinking workshops, participants co-create real-world solutions with city and industry stakeholders. The programme culminates in a pitching event where teams present business-ready concepts to an investor jury.

Urban Mobility and Healthy Ageing Summer School in Lisbon and Barcelona – Second edition
Design mobility solutions that promote healthy ageing and urban inclusion.
The Urban Mobility and Healthy Ageing Summer School equips students with the skills to design inclusive, age-friendly mobility systems. Hosted in Lisbon (Portugal) and Barcelona (Spain), the programme explores how cities can support independence and reduce mobility decline for older adults.
Participants will explore key topics such as intrinsic capacity, accessibility, and health-oriented urban design. The summer school begins with an entry phase focused on the fundamentals of ageing and mobility. It continues with an exit school, where students develop innovative, real-world solutions through mentorship.
This summer school welcomes international participants. They will be joined by students from the EIT Urban Mobility Master School, creating a rich and interdisciplinary learning environment.

Resilient Cities Summer School in Bratislava and Ljubljana – Second edition
Build resilient urban futures through hands-on learning and collaboration.
The Resilient Cities Summer School immerses participants in practical approaches to urban resilience across two vibrant European cities: Bratislava (Slovakia) and Ljubljana (Slovenia). This two-location programme explores key topics including health-focused urban design, sustainable transport, and autonomous mobility solutions.
Through expert-led sessions, collaborative workshops, and project-based learning, participants tackle real-life urban challenges. They co-develop innovative strategies aimed at enhancing the resilience of European cities and improving quality of life.

ChargeUp 2.0 Summer School in Šibenik, Croatia – Second edition
Innovating energy-efficient urban mobility in RIS regions.
The ChargeUp 2.0 Summer School is a challenge-based Summer School empowering students from EIT RIS countries to design innovative and energy-efficient urban mobility solutions. Through interdisciplinary teamwork, expert mentoring and study visits, participants work on real-life challenges defined by cities and industry. The programme combines technical knowledge with entrepreneurship and pitching skills, strengthening the innovation capacity of future mobility professionals and supporting stronger collaboration between academia, businesses and public authorities.

Cargo Bike Revolution Summer School in in Ghent and Berlin
Pedal the future of sustainable urban logistics.
The Cargo Bike Revolution Summer School is a master-level programme where you will co-create, design and test innovative, scalable cargo bike solutions for live urban challenges in Ghent and Berlin. Through hands-on fieldwork, expert-led sessions and interdisciplinary teamwork, you will explore last-mile delivery, local commerce and user-centred design with on-street observation, stakeholder interviews and rapid prototyping while developing viable business models that balance environmental, social and economic impact and define a clear path to implementation. Working closely with academics, industry experts and city stakeholders, you will transform city-specific problems into pilot-ready entrepreneurial concepts that contribute to cleaner, more liveable cities. Join an international cohort and learn how to move from insight to design to delivery in two leading cargo bike cities.
This summer school welcomes international participants, and is well suited for master and PhD students, as well as professionals.

Participants collaborate with cities, industry experts, startups, and researchers to develop practical, market-oriented solutions addressing topics such as public transport, urban logistics, mobility data, electrification, and health.
