Request for proposal:

WP Platform Maintenance (UMC Online Courses) '26-'28 

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is aiming to identify a supplier, hereinafter being referred to as “Supplier”, who is capable of providing full website maintenance (standard plug-ins and bespoke code) developed to enhance the user experience, functionality, and overall performance of our website, currently located at urbanmobilitycourses.eu. (production and test platforms).

Specifically, this project aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. Maintain a reliable secure and accessible service . This is to include the purchase and monthly update of existing plugins to ensure the website remains secure and functions reliably.

2. Enhance website performance and scalability: Optimize website speed, eliminate performance bottlenecks, and prepare the website to handle future growth and content expansion.

3. Implement minor website improvements and fixes caused by unexpected issues: Address smaller user experience issues that may arise, for example, from new plug-in versions.

4. Maintenance of bespoke core and connected services like; Mailchimp, Mailgun, Cloudflare, Woocommerce, LearnDash, PowerBI, CookieYes, Yoast SEO and other plugins as needed.

5. Analise and implement future development and strategies to enhance UX experience on the platform and to accommodate new products, such as;  adapt enrolment and payment system to new strategy, accommodate courses offering in other languages, and integrating light products (for example use cases pages, masterclass, micro-learning products etc).
