Rfp Video Hosting & Streaming Platform UMC e-Courses

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility (hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”) is aiming to identify a provider (hereinafter being referred to as “the supplier”) who is capable of providing access to a video hosting and streaming platform.

With two main purposes:

1. To store and provide streaming for videos and other multimedia files that can be linked within the e-courses. This ensures the e-courses remain lightweight and smartphone-friendly.
2. To provide a platform capable of generating and supporting subtitles and audio channels in multiple languages.

It is expected that the selected supplier:

• Has strong reputation and ranks among the top 20 in Video Hosting and Streaming platforms;
• Provides an easy to use butadvance suite of platform management(administration with multiple profiles reader, collaboration, admin). 10-15 collaboration roles
• Can avoid impact and overload work in case of migration from Vimeo (the current platform)
• Have (automatic translation tools) for subtitles and video clone from English to at least the 15 most “used” of the 24 official European Languages.

Due to the nature of the requested video streaming service, which affects over 50 e-courses on the EIT UM learning platform, the RFP will cover the period from 28^thOctober 2025 to 27^thOctober 2028 (subject to budget availability and performance evaluation) through three annually signed contracts.
