Requests for proposals: Study on Light Electric Vehicles batteries

EIT Urban Mobility is seeking for a provider to conduct a study about the environmental impact of LEV batteries.

Main topics that should be researched are listed below:

• The study should focus on light electric vehicle batteries, with a special focus on micromobility and last-mile logistics e-vehicles.
• It should investigate the sustainability impact of streamlined light electric vehicles (LEV) batteries and closed-loop, local production both for batteries and vehicles, against present-day practices.
• It should lay out practitioner-oriented recommendations to accelerate the uptake of standardised batteries and thereby advance emission free, smaller-sized mobility solutions.

The study will benefit from regular input by EIT Urban Mobility and EIT InnoEnergy.
