Request for Proposals: Selection of a contractor to help define and build the Competence Hub's value proposition

27 May 2021

The Academy is the collaborative arena for lifelong learning within EIT Urban Mobility, helping to build critical capabilities for innovation and transformation. Within the Academy, the Competence Hub offers intensive programmes on hot topics in urban mobility and transport to work with professionals from different sectors, such as project managers, engineers, city executives and entrepreneurs.

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility is aiming to identify a supplier capable of supporting the need to define a strong value proposition, based on a sound understanding of its core market(s) and of is target learner audience(s)’ needs. This value proposition should support the strategic orientations of the different learning experiences developed by the Competence Hub, by answering the following questions:

  • Which specific market(s) of urban mobility professionals and organisations will the Competence Hub target as a priority (sub-sectors, seniority, geography, etc.)?
  • Which specific learning/knowledge needs will the Competence Hub target as a priority (technical, soft-skills, networking, etc.)?
  • What differential value will the Competence Hub provide, compared to its competitors, to fulfil these needs?
  • How should the existing product/service portfolio and the development of the Competence Hub’s future training activities be enhanced or designed so to best achieve this differential value?

The value proposition should allow for the remodelling and fine-tuning of the current funnel model, by strategically positioning the Competence Hub and its services towards its core markets and target audiences.

The intended start date is, at the latest, 1 July 2021 and is expected to last, at the latest, untill 10 December 2021.
