Music licensing for Urban Mobility Explained (UMX)

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking to appoint one qualified supplier (hereinafter referred to as “Supplier”) to provide music licensing, sound effects, and related audio support for the Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) videos, managed by the Competence Hub (CH).  This document, along with its annexes, constitutes a Request for Proposal (RfP) issued by EIT KIC Urban Mobility S.L. for a potential procurement of services in the field of music licensing and sound design.

The Competence Hub regularly produces new educational videos on sustainable urban mobility in cities across Europe (and beyond) to inspire professionals and citizens to create more sustainable, inclusive urban environments.

Music plays a key role in shaping the tone, rhythm, and impact of our videos. To elevate the quality and creative diversity of our productions, EIT Urban Mobility seeks a music partner offering secure IP rights, broad licensing coverage, and access to a diverse, high-quality sound library. Beyond music access, the Supplier should also provide value-adding services such as music curation, sonic branding, and artist collaborations, helping us establish a distinctive and inclusive sonic identity for UMX.
