By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support for Telecommunication Services, by appointing a provider of mobile network and internet services across all European countries (hereinafter being referred to as “the provider”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of telecommunications services company to provide mobile network and internet services in all European countries.
EIT Urban Mobility currently has over 200 employees, most of whom are based at the headquarter office in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). There are currently 156 SIM cards in use and over 140 handsets acquired between 2020 and the present day. In 2025, the number of active subscriptions may increase to between 160 and 170. An increase in the number of employees is planned for the current year, which will require the provision of additional SIM cards and mobile phones.
There are two Work Packages (WP) included in the present request for proposal. Each WP will be invoiced separately. The first WP is for the provisioning of mobile subscriptions for all EIT Urban Mobility employees. The second WP includes the purchase of SIM-unlocked smartphones with Warranty and Support service included.
The following sections of this document will assume that Work Packages (WP) 1 & 2 as a whole. The separation of them in two Work Packages responds exclusively to a different internal accounting treatment, as separate invoices will be required.
