Request for proposals: European Women in VC Report 2025

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support for the Women in VC report 2025 landscape from a gender perspective, by appointing qualified experts, individuals, or companies (hereinafter being referred to as “Provider”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of European VC and gender.

EIT Urban Mobility has the dedication to narrow the startup gender gap and foster an inclusive ecosystem. Venture Capitals lack gender diversity globally with most investment committees being all-male and a minority of VC partners being female.

For this reason, EIT Urban Mobility is supporting initiatives to encourage asset flow into venture capital and growth space, with a particular emphasis on female representation and mixed and diverse teams. The aim is to catalyse the LP community (family offices, UHNWI, pension funds, corporations, and other institutions) to encourage investment into Fund of Funds and Venture Funds, with a focus on Europe and in particular with a diversity angle.

A research initiative, followed by a report, will identify and analyse trends, growth indicators and recommend steps that need to be taken to help close the funding gap. The key objective is to develop highly credible, empirical research based on thought leadership in order to drive influence and change within the European VC market.
