Request for proposals: Digital private platforms for EIT Urban Mobility community and for the EIT HEI Alumni Community

6 March 2024

By the present procurement procedure, the EIT KIC Urban Mobility S.L. hereby being referred to as “EIT UM” or the “Company” is aiming to identify a provider (hereinafter, referred to as “the Contractor” or “Tenderer”) to deliver two new digital platforms:

  • Digital platform for EIT Urban Mobility Community referred as Work Package 1.
  • Digital platform for the EIT HEI Alumni Community referred as Work Package 2.

Work Package 1: Digital Platform for the EIT Urban Mobility Community

The digital private platform for EIT Urban Mobility community will replace our current ‘Partners’ Site’ (CMS SharePoint), where partners can currently access several types of information, such as legal documents, operational, brand requirements, news, and events, and to better engage with our community in a wider scope (partners and larger ecosystem of stakeholders).

Our community is made of over 250 partners and larger ecosystem of more than 950 stakeholders as we work together to make the transition to more sustainable urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. This community includes industry, including large enterprises, SMEs, and start-ups (who already have access to a community platform, the EIT Urban Mobility Growth Lab, hosted by HiveBrite); universities and education institutions; students and alumni; research and technology organisations; governments at local, regional, national and EU-level; and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

The aim is to offer a private digital platform where our partners and stakeholders can access information, documents and opportunities shared by EIT Urban Mobility, see, and register to events, and engage in interactive discussions with other members, according to their user role.

The ambition of this online community is to support and reflect EIT Urban Mobility as the largest innovation community for urban mobility in Europe.

Work Package 2: Digital Platform for the EIT HEI Alumni Community

The EIT HEI Initiative Alumni community will connect the students, academic and non-academic staff trained, as well as the start-up founders supported in the context of the HEI initiative.

The main purpose of the platform will be to keep the alumni connected to the EIT HEI Initiative, the EIT KICs, and to keep them engaged with the rest of the EIT community; informing alumni about opportunities including (but not limited to): careers, education and learning, EU funding, networking, matchmaking, entrepreneurship mentoring; provide expert career advice, and inspiring content (e.g., success stories from the community). Offer on the digital platform will vary according to the HEI Alumni community needs and interests.
