By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support to work closely with the Growth Lab team at the Impact Ventures Department on a digital and private platform for urban mobility startups, by appointing a community platform (hereinafter being referred to as “Provider”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of online communities.
Impact Ventures aims to become the reference in the market for supporting and funding gender-balanced startups within urban mobility. Our instruments are:
We support the lifecycle of startups and scaleups through the phases of incubation, acceleration, and growth through our own investment activities. We especially help startups and scaleups connect with living labs and pilot opportunities with cities in our partner network. Our investment policy aims to build a strong and growing equity portfolio, placing equal emphasis on impact and financial return.
Impact Ventures Department aims to digitalise the way it adds value to Horizon Europe urban mobility startups and scaleups. The goal is to offer a private Digital Platform where these ventures can get access to opportunities shared by EIT Urban Mobility and where they could collaborate (e.g., share skills and knowledge).
The ambition of this online community is to become the leading platform in Europe for startups in the urban mobility field to find growth opportunities related to business, funding, and talent.
