Request for Proposals: Developing, testing and launching the EIT Virtual Campus

EIT Urban Mobility is seeking to develop the EIT Virtual Campus, which will aim at bringing together the KICs’ professional education offer available into one single platform. It will act as an online shopping window featuring the hundreds of courses offered by the involved KICs into one single platform, while said courses will remain hosted on each individual KIC’s learning platform (which range from market leader platforms such as FutureLearn and Coursera, to the KIC´s own Moodle platforms).

To deliver the EIT Virtual Campus in 2022, EIT Urban Mobility is seeking for a single provider for the two following work packages.

• Designing, launching and testing the EIT Virtual Campus. The successful vendor will be required to build the EIT Virtual Campus, a simple pilot portal that will aggregate courses from a selection of KICs. We expect the vendor to provide some basic design with limited functionalities. We also expect the vendor to run digital marketing tests to illustrate potential.
• Delivering a roadmap from the EIT Virtual Campus (pilot) to the EIT Education Portal (fully-fledged product). The vendor will offer a roadmap from the pilot phase or prototype (the EIT Virtual Campus) to a fully-fledged product (EIT Education Portal) from 2023. We expect the vendor to offer several options for the EIT Education Portal, with varying ranges of functionalities.
