Request for proposals: Creative services for Urban Mobility Explained (UMX)

EIT KIC Urban Mobility S.L. (hereinafter “EIT UM”) is seeking a creative agency (hereinafter “the Supplier”) to develop a comprehensive suite of multimedia graphical design elements and video production services for our newly rebranded platform, Urban Mobility Explained (hereinafter “UMX”).

In May 2024, EIT UM Competence Hub unified its diverse educational offerings—including its YouTube channel (UMX), eLearning platform, applied learning courses, blogs, and webinars—under a single brand: Urban Mobility Explained (UMX). This rebrand aims to strengthen our position as a leader in urban mobility education by establishing a cohesive identity that embodies our core values and mission. By integrating these resources into a unified hub, we aim to enhance the learning experience, meet the evolving needs of our audience, and foster community engagement.

As part of the initial phase of our rebrand, we developed a distinctive new identity that reflects our values and mission. While we have already established key brand elements—including the logo, typography, colour palette, YouTube visuals (such as banners, thumbnails, lower thirds, and on-screen text), and web elements (like banners and icons)—we are now looking for a Supplier to create a comprehensive suite of additional graphic and video assets to fully realise and enhance our brand identity.

Our objectives for this project are:

Complete the suite of graphic assets for UMX’s new brand identity.

Complete the suite of graphic assets necessary to establish a unified and visually engaging brand identity that represents the new UMX. Building on existing key assets (outlined in previous paragraph) and integrating new designs with our distinctive collage style, the Supplier will develop the remaining graphic elements for all UMX’s platforms—such as our e-learning platform, YouTube channel, website (urbanmobilityexplained.eu), LinkedIn Showcase page, and email and marketing communications. This will ensure a consistent, impactful, and cohesive brand presence across all media and communication channels.

In addition to creating graphical elements, the Supplier will also support with marketing and outreach efforts by creating engaging and visually impactful marketing materials and collaterals that align with our new brand identity. These materials should help solidify UMX’s position as a leading provider in urban mobility education and training.

Support UMX video production

Develop video content that aligns with our collage-style brand aesthetic, enhancing our storytelling and communication efforts to generate awareness of the UMX brand and create explainer/educational videos.

We are seeking a Supplier who can provide innovative and creative design and video solutions that can bring UMX’s new brand to life and serve future video production needs. This RFP outlines our requirements and expectations, and we invite experienced agencies to submit their proposals.
