By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility Innovation Hub North ApS, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support for media relations and PR-related activities in several Nordic countries, by appointing a media/PR agency (hereinafter being referred to as “Provider”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of media relations and PR.
EIT Urban Mobility Innovation Hub North brings together key stakeholders in urban mobility from a large geographical area of eight Nordic and Baltic countries: Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Iceland. Its office is located in the heart of Copenhagen (Denmark) in the dynamic co-working community of BLOXHUB.
EIT Urban Mobility Innovation Hub North has an active media strategy, which includes the identification of relevant journalists across its geographic zone, dissemination of information, proactive negotiation of interviews and articles as well as building relations through the organisation of events. In 2025, more than 100 media clipping were achieved, 3 op-eds were published and 1 interview was conducted.
EIT Urban Mobility’s overall media objectives are:
The specific objective of this service request is aimed at supporting media relations campaigns for the EIT Urban Mobility Innovation Hub North, in line with the EIT Urban Mobility headquarters’ media strategy. The objective of the Hub during 2026-2028 is to achieve a total of minimum 300 media clippings (including interviews) and 30 media contributions (including op-eds, introductions to journalists, event invitations to journalists etc.), and the service should help reach these objectives. Within the scope of this request for proposal, the services will be focused on the four Nordic countries of Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
EIT Urban Mobility Innovation Hub North will share a list of spokespeople for each media activity, although it will in most cases be EIT Urban Mobility’s Management Team.
