Host event for the HEIPowered Startup Pitch Competition editions 2026-2028

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking an event partner, hereinafter being referred to as “Host Event” or “Host”, to host the upcoming editions, 2026, 2027 and 2028, of the EIT Higher Education Initiative’s HEIPowered Startup Pitch Competition, (hereinafter being referred to as “Pitch Competition”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of event support and management.

The primary objective of this RfP is to secure a host of the next three editions of the Pitch Competition at a European international gathering for science, innovation and technology, providing international exposure and recognition to the competition and the EIT Higher Education Initiative. The three editions are expected to be scheduled to take place during the second half of the years 2026, 2027 and 2028. The selected host will be responsible for providing support in hosting the competition, including:

• Offering a venue and time slot as part of the agenda of an internationally recognised event to host the Pitch Competition.
• Taking care of all the technical requirements to host the competition.
• Promoting the competition as part of their event programme.
