By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support for a tool to issue certificates, (hereinafter being referred to as “tool”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of certificates management.
The EIT Higher Education Initiative is a pan-European project that aims at helping higher education institutions to build capacity to teach innovation and entrepreneurship. The EIT Higher Education Initiative organises annual calls for proposals, inviting European higher education institutions to design institution wide action plans in which they have to train and mentor a minimum number of students, academic and non-academic staff in entrepreneurship and innovation fields, and also support start-ups through services like mentoring and consultancy.
In the context of the EIT Higher Education Initiative, EIT Urban Mobility is leading the Higher Education Initiative Community, connecting the students, academic and non-academic staff trained, as well as the startup founders supported.
One of the Community’s tasks is to support project partners in issuing certificates for activities carried out within their projects, including training for students, academic staff, and non-academic staff, as well as mentoring for startup founders. These certificates help strengthen and promote the Initiative’s brand among project participants and external audiences, while also enabling participants data collection and fostering engagement with the Community and its activities.
The primary objective of this RfP is to ensure the proper management and issuance of certificates for activities carried out by the projects to train students, academic staff, non-academic staff, and to mentor startup founders. The selected certificate tool must enable efficient management and accurate issuance of certificates. The EIT UM team will be responsible for managing the selected tool.
Work Package 1 (WP1): Issue certificates up to 10,000 recipients yearly
The selected tool must enable the issuance of personalised certificates for up to 10,000 recipients on a yearly basis.
Work Package 2 (WP2): On-demand add-ons
Where necessary, the tool shall have the ability to provide on-demand add-ons, for example, increasing the number of recipients, subject to prior approval by EIT Urban Mobility.
