Project summary

The Sustainability in the Built Environment programme is an innovative eight-week learning journey presented by RMIT Europe with RMIT Online. This dynamic initiative is designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to drive meaningful change in urban mobility practices.

Learners will spend the first two weeks completing an intensive on the selected specialisation, with the remaining six weeks focused on an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and project aligned with the learner’s chosen specialisation.

By empowering mobility professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle sustainability challenges, promoting economic growth and job opportunities, and fostering inclusivity and professional development, the project is set to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to the field of urban mobility and its positive impact on the environment and society.

Context

The project aims to close the knowledge gap within urban mobility.

Challenge

The activity addresses the replication, scaling-up, remodelling and business-to-business commercialisation of existing courses and trainings.

Expected outcome

This activity will result in a Sustainability in the Built Environment programme, to be launched in September 2024.
