Context

Furthering the use of pro-active management of crowded spaces using real-time decision support systems.

Challenge

Quality of life in European cities is influenced by the service level of their pedestrian spaces, which are negatively influenced by crowding issues.

Expected outcome

Impact assessment of a cloud-based crowd management decision-support system featuring four living labs at crowded pedestrian locations Amsterdam, Milan and Barcelona.
