(E-) Transport models used in mobility planning lack representation of bicycles. A good bicycle network improves mobility and leads to reduced congestion.

Main Objetive

Provide methods and data that support policies for increased bicycle use with focus on long-distance trips facilitated by e-bikes and bicycle highways.


A substantial data foundation, methodological processing protocols and quantitative model development needed for analysis of bicycle user behavior.
