The 5G Turbo Accelerator will support up to 20 start-ups to address key challenges in urban mobility with a focus on developing 5G technologies and services to improve traffic efficiency and traffic management, smart parking options, and road safety solutions, among others.

The programme will use the existing online open community of Impact Connected Car, a European project where industry, cities, and future mobility stakeholders already engage at an international level.

Participants will be able to foster connections with other start-ups, industry and cities to achieve technological and market validation, through networking at bootcamps and demodays, and gain access to living labs, and business, technical, and monetary support, based on the experience of the consortium partners.

Safer conditions for drivers and passengers, improved efficiency in traffic flows and parking, and solutions to other urban mobility issues that 5G technology can help resolve, as well as increasing the competitiveness of the European market in creating future mobility solutions.

Main Objective

Solve critical urban mobility challenges using the latest 5G technologies and services, and support 20 start-ups in this field to accelerate their development and increase their chances of access to funding.

Up to 20 start-ups will be selected and benefit from an acceleration programme of up to six months, including 85 hours of technical and business coaching services as well as funding.
