Marc Rozendal

Marc Rozendal, Chief Executive Officer at EIT Urban Mobility, is an experienced international senior business leader with expertise in the mobility and transport sectors. Rozendal has built several high-performing teams and delivered on strategic objectives in his previous roles, for startups and corporate enterprises alike.

Rozendal’s career has centred on business transformation, technological innovation, and sustainability. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director for the United Kingdom-based ride-hailing scale-up, Ola, and as CEO of Cab Guru, a transport technology startup. Prior to these roles, he was Netherlands-based, where he held several senior positions in influential public transport companies, including Transdev Nederland and Transdev’s Connexxion.

Always on the quest for knowledge, Rozendal holds three bachelor’s degrees. He began his academic career with a Business Management degree from the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht before receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration, Management, Economics and Law degree from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He rounded out his studies with a Bachelor in Engineering, Business Administration and Management from the Aeres University of Applied Sciences Dronten.

Rozendal has extensive experience in both board and executive level roles and brings nearly 20 years of industry expertise to his position of CEO for EIT Urban Mobility.
