Dr. Adriana Diaz is Director of Innovation and Strategy at EIT Urban Mobility. With over 15 years of experience spanning innovation consultancy, technology policy, and research, including roles at Bax & Company, Mobile World Capital Barcelona, and RMIT Europe, she has built a career at the intersection of policy, industry, and urban transformation. She holds an MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis and a Doctorate in Economics of Innovation, with research focused on the effects of public investment on green energy innovation.
She leads a wide-ranging portfolio of innovation projects, from fast-moving pilots getting solutions to market, to large-scale European consortium projects, all aimed at accelerating the transition to cleaner, more inclusive urban transport. A key area of focus has been autonomous mobility and EIT Urban Mobility's role in supporting the large-scale, harmonised deployment of autonomous mobility services across Europe.
