Carles Fuentes, Urban Mobility Spain Manager - Abertis Mobility Services
Carles Fuentes is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain and has PDD from IESE. With over 20 years of experience managing technological projects for ITS and toll systems for the Abertis group, he is passionate about technology and its application in intelligent mobility management.
He also actively participates in ITS systems working groups in the European Association of Toll Concessions and is an expert for the European Union in areas related to ITS systems and electronic tolls and urban mobility.
He is currently responsible for Urban Mobility in Spain for Abertis Mobility Services, the competence center of the Abertis group, focusing on offering sustainable mobility products and services to cities.

Bonnie has worked in sustainable mobility at both the local and the international levels with experience both in Canada and across Europe. She has a particular interest in walking, cycling and shared mobility as well as in making connections between theory and practice. Bonnie currently coordinates the EU ReVeAL project looking at urban vehicle access regulations and the role they can play in making cities more liveable.

Xavier Querol (Research Professor) works on environmental geochemistry applied to air pollution. PhD at University of Barcelona, postdoc at BGS-NERC, UK, and since 1994 at the Spanish Research Council. He has led numerous research projects, co-authored 700 scientific articles, and supervised 29 PhD students. Member of working groups assessing Clean Air for Europe, several WHO-groups, Scientific Bureau of EMEP-UNECE, assessing the Spanish Ministry of the Environment and several cities and regions of Spain. Environment Award of the Generalitat de Catalunya 2009. King Jaume I Award 2013 for the Protection of the Environment. National Research Award on Natural Resources in 2020, In the lists of Clarivate on the most cited researchers since 2014.
