Synergies of Urban Mobility EIT UM RIS Hub Croatia

EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Croatia invites you to the event "Synergies of Urban Mobility", that will connect the stakeholders of the urban mobility ecosystem in Croatia, encourage and support their joint efforts in creating more liveable urban spaces. The aim is to bring all key players in urban mobility of Croatia together, avoid fragmentation and achieve more through establishing synergies. Being crucial for the sustainable urban development, these synergies are sought in every direction: between transport modes, policy areas and strategies, different planning levels and sectors, private and public actors, different parts of the value chain in delivering mobility services, research institutions and businesses, academia, industry, SMEs and policy makers.

The ultimate objective of this event is to raise awareness about the need for synergetic action in urban (mobility) planning and service delivery, to connect the stakeholders and present the cities and other stakeholders opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation, especially those supported by EIT UM. At the same time, the event focuses on some of the crucial components of urban mobility systems and cross-cutting topics such as climate change mitigation and adaptation. The participants are invited to exchange information and knowledge, learn from each other and from the presenters and panelists.

In addition, the event provides a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the advantages and potential challenges of owning an EV, putting the participants in less formal interaction with the EV owners and experts. Once EV, always EV! is a parallel EV popularisation one-day event that will be held on site in order to promote e-mobility and the related innovations. It is organised by the Faculty of electrical engineering and computing in Zagreb, Croatian Telecom, Electric Circuit Association and Dekra Ltd.
