Join us at the “SUMP in the Nordics: How to succeed with sustainable Urban Mobility and Logistics Plans in Nordic Cities” event in Jūrmala, Latvia!
Nordic cities are leading the way towards cleaner, smarter and better-connected transport systems. Central to this transformation is the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) framework, a strategic tool that helps municipalities design future-ready mobility strategies.
This event brings together city representatives, mobility experts and private sector innovators, including logistics companies, to explore what is working, what remains challenging and what lies ahead for sustainable mobility in the region.
Cities with successfully advanced SUMPs will present, examine the key challenges they have faced and discuss how public-private collaboration can accelerate the transition towards more sustainable mobility.
Highlights of the event
- Presentation of a new report with insights from research conducted in partnership with leading urban logistics companies across the Baltics
- Keynote presentations from international experts on SUMP development and intersection of urban logistics and SUMP strategies
- Panel discussion on the role of SUMPs and urban logistics in shaping resilient cities
