SMART CITY: Micro-mobility, a necessity for urban sustainable development

A virtual workshop “SMART CITY: Micro-mobility, a necessity for urban sustainable development” will gather the representatives of the industry and Romanian government officials and provide them with an opportunity to discuss various aspects of micromobility, such as its contribution to environment-friendly urban transport and the necessity of local regulations. 

Delia Mitcan, Innovation Lifecycle Officer Hub West, will participate as one of the keynote speakers in a panel on “Micromobility, a tool for an ecological urban traffic”.

The Romanian Coalition for Digital Economy will organise a virtual workshop “SMART CITY: Micro-mobility, a necessity for urban sustainable development”, which aim is to get together a number of mayors from across Romania to discuss, in a virtual format, the benefits of micro-mobility, as well as to gather together the representatives of the industry and local government officials, so they can discuss about the contribution of micromobility services to an efficient and ecological urban transport, the challenges and necessity of local regulations, and the education campaigns for users of micromobility services. The event will be opened by Mr. Florin Cîțu – the Romanian Prime Minister.
