EIT Urban Mobility will once again collaborate with SIL, curating and moderating a session on Smart Cities and last-mile logistics: technologies redefining urban mobility.
The discussion will explore how Smart Cities are driving a profound transformation in last-mile delivery, where sustainability, efficiency and digitalisation are becoming central pillars. From fleet electrification to automation and the use of artificial intelligence to optimise operations, new technologies are reshaping how goods move through urban environments.
Beyond innovation, the session will focus on a critical question: which solutions are truly mature, where are they already delivering real impact, and how can they be effectively integrated into the urban mobility ecosystem?
Bringing together strategic insight and hands-on experience, the panel will highlight emerging models and examine the conditions needed to scale these solutions across cities.
The session will be moderated by Alberto Ratti (EIT Urban Mobility) on 3 June at 12:10 (50 minutes), and will feature:
Xavier Ruiz (ROUTAL)
Cristina Juárez (CARNET)
Daniel Latorre (CITYLOGIN)
