How can cities decarbonise their transport and energy systems?
The Rethink Cities Summit brings together city officials, mayors and industry leaders working at the forefront of urban decarbonisation. The summit serves as a platform for turning ideas into actionable projects, with participants sharing practical solutions and successful case studies across key focus areas: integrated energy systems, the electrification of transport and construction machinery, and energy-efficient buildings.
A central theme is fostering public-private partnerships and highlighting scalable solutions that attract investment and accelerate the energy transition in urban areas.
The summit also features city case presentations that showcase local achievements, along with challenge workshops that provide a space for small groups to collaboratively explore solutions to pressing urban issues. Among the presenting cities are Tauragė, Trondheim, and Forum Virium, the innovation company of the city of Helsinki.
