Speakers

  • Eileen Niehaus, Managing Director at cargobike.jetzt, is a political scientist specialising in mobility and logistics since 2015. After working on green city concepts in Latin America and research projects for German federal ministries, she now focuses on cargo bikes as key drivers of the transport transition.
  • Klaus Stodick, City Logistics and Sustainability Expert at UPS. He specialises in Last Mile solutions and ESG-driven projects across Germany. He works with public institutions, research bodies, and NGOs, and has published research on Last Mile logistics. 
  • Karsten Hülsemann has acted as the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen‘s first Manager of Urban Logistics since 2022. He also coordinates the EU-funded ULaaDS project (Urban Logistics as an on-Demand Service), a position he took on in 2020. With a social sciences background and expertise in technology and regional development, he previously held leadership roles in the automotive industry and worked on research projects at universities and Fraunhofer institutes.
