Next Mobility Exhibition 2026

Event details

NME – Next Mobility Exhibition (NME) 2026 is the biennial event dedicated to smart, integrated and sustainable passenger mobility, with a strategic focus on public transport, commercial passenger transport and on the technologies enabling the energy and digital transition of the sector.

Organised by Fiera Milano, NME is a qualified meeting point for companies, operators, institutions, trade associations and stakeholders involved in the transformation of urban, suburban and intercity mobility systems.

The event will focus on solutions, technologies, vehicles and policies for an integrated, innovative and sustainable mobility system for people; bringing together leading companies and national and international stakeholders in Milan between the 13 and 16 March 2026. Milan is considered the sixth city in the world for green mobility and one of the first Italian cities to have a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan. It is also a leading city of EIT Urban Mobility since the beginning of our community.

Participation of EIT Urban Mobility

During Next Mobility Exhibition 2026, EIT Urban Mobility will participate with two main activities:

Keynote: Investing in better cities: Costs and benefits of the urban mobility transitionThursday 14 May – 10.15 – 11.00 CET

In this keynote speech, EIT Urban Mobility will present key insights from its study  ‘Costs and benefits of the urban mobility transition’, which evaluates how European cities can meet the EU Green Deal targets for 2030 and 2050 by comparing three transition scenarios across diverse city types. The keynote will reveal the scale of investments required, the balance of costs and benefits and how strategic shifts toward public transport, active mobility and smarter policies can deliver long-term environmental, health, safety and socio-economic gains, while reducing emissions and improving quality of urban life for our citizens.
