EIT Urban Mobility is taking part in the New Mobility Congress 2026 in Katowice, Poland, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to sustainable mobility, transport innovation and the future of urban mobility. The congress brings together policymakers, city representatives, industry leaders and innovators to exchange knowledge and explore the latest developments in electromobility, clean transport and the mobility transition across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Recognised as the largest conference and expo dedicated to new mobility in the CEE region, this year’s event will examine the evolving market and regulatory landscape, including Europe’s increasing emission reduction targets for cars and vans. In addition, discussions will explore how innovation, reindustrialisation and decarbonisation can strengthen the competitiveness of the mobility sector while accelerating the transition to cleaner, smarter and more sustainable transport systems.
Event highlights and key themes
- Marc Rozendal, CEO of EIT Urban Mobility, will deliver a keynote address during the New Mobility Congress.
- Furthermore, PwC CEE, in cooperation with EIT Urban Mobility, is launching the PwC CEE Smart Mobility Sprint 2026, a new initiative designed to strengthen collaboration, progress and support knowledge exchange on urban mobility across Central and Eastern Europe.
Since 2023, EIT Urban Mobility has played an active role in the New Mobility Congress, contributing through keynote speeches, expert panel discussions and strategic collaborations. As a result, this year’s participation further strengthens EIT Urban Mobility’s long-term commitment to supporting innovation, sustainable mobility and collaboration across the CEE region.
