EIT Urban Mobility is taking part in the fifth edition of New Mobility Congress. It is the largest industry conference and EXPO in the CEE region. Specifically, the event will span three days, feature five stages, hist 400 speakers and welcome 5000 participants in the conference and two exhibition zones with 200 exhibitors. Moreover, the event brings together companies from a wide array of industries, EU and national decision-makers, and C-Level stakeholders from all around Europe. The event will highlight the development of the zero-emission transport sector.
New Mobility Congress agenda
The Congress programme will cover the most important political, regulatory, market, technological and social issues. The key points that affect the development of sustainable transport in Europe. The main topics will include discussions on:
- The platform for cooperation of key stakeholders in the e-mobility market in Poland;
- The development of new zero-emission forms of mobility in cities and in heavy-duty transport sector;
- Battery technology for the automotive industry;
- New industrial policy and economy;
- The commercial take-up of hydrogen technologies in transport and zero-emission economy.
This year EIT Urban Mobility will be hosting a booth for the three-day event as last year. Traian Urban, Director of the Innovation Hub East, will give a keynote at Smart City Index – Report Premiere, on 25 September.
In addition, EIT Urban Mobility is also organising is the discussion on improving battery circularity with BatteReverse on 26 September. The community develops the technologies and partnerships to build a reverse logistics value chain for batteries, covering its lifecycle and future use. BatteReverse project consortium aims to lower the costs and time consumption, while ensuring maximum safety, efficiency and sustainability through assessment of batteries, safe packaging and automated dismantling.
The annual New Mobility Congress is organised by The Polish New Mobility Association, the largest economic organisation creating the sustainable transport market in Poland and the CEE region.
