Mobility Talks 30: Public transport innovations

Event details

Public transport systems across Europe face mounting pressure to become more resilient, efficient, and inclusive. This Mobility Talks explores how technological innovations and new business models can provide solutions to these challenges. From improved demand management and operations to better data collection and exploitation, we’ll examine how public transport authorities and operators are responding to changing commuter patterns and accommodating different users’ needs while maintaining service quality and attractiveness.  

In this session, the invited experts and practitioners will touch upon key issues such as mobility management planning, regulatory frameworks, and the integration of new technologies and services.

Hannah Tune | Transport for Greater Manchester

Hannah Tune is ITS Development Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester. Leading on TfGM’s digital transition for transport network management through the delivery of the Digital Network Management Strategy. Currently working in the Highways operational team to ensure that TfGM are embracing technology, data and new mobility solutions to improve multimodal customer journeys and network efficiency. Hannah has extensive experience of developing solutions through the use of emerging technologies and digital connectivity. Currently delivering pilot schemes with various technologies, including Connected Mobility, deployment of 5G connected corridor for smart traffic signals utilising AI for adaptive signal.
