Mobility Talk 32: Digital twins for better mobility

Event details

Digital twins have recently emerged as a powerful tool for cities seeking to plan, manage, and optimise mobility systems in an increasingly complex and data-rich environment. By creating dynamic digital representations of urban mobility systems, cities can test scenarios, simulate policy impacts, and make better-informed decisions. However, the usefulness and accuracy of simulations provided by digital twins depend on the quality of the underlying data.

In this edition of EIT Urban Mobility Talks, we will explore how digital twins can deliver real public value for mobility systems, while supporting digital sovereignty, openness, and long-term resilience. The session will dive into how cities and innovators can leverage available data from multiple sources, ensuring that critical digital infrastructures respect and contribute to public policy objectives.
