During this joint interactive workshop, we will share lessons learned from the CLEAR (City LivEAbility by Redesign) research project, and exchange ideas on street experiments as drivers of sustainable mobility transitions. Furthermore, you will be creating a rendition of your own street experiment using SET (Street Experiment Tool).
This workshop will be hosted by the partners involved in CLEAR and SET. The University of Amsterdam will be leading and moderating the workshop. Partners from Milan, Munich and Amsterdam will present local examples of street experiments and are available for Q&A.
In part one of this twofold workshop, the participants will get familiar with the concept of street experiments. Representatives from Milan, Munich and Amsterdam will present the CLEAR project. Break-out discussions will be followed by a guided panel discussion to gain an in-depth understanding of street experiments and their transformative potential. In part two, the participants will test the SET Guideline Kit (SGK) by following its directory to imagine a street experiment for their own city. Finally, we will discuss how this test activity refines our notion of street experiments and offers feedback on the tool’s usability.
