Implementing the urban mobility transition: aligning EU ambition with local delivery

Event details

Organised by the Green Mobility Magazine for EIT Urban Mobility, the event will bring together policymakers, cities, innovators, and industry experts to explore how the EU’s ambitious urban mobility goals can be translated into real-world action. This dialogue will focus on the key enabling conditions, partnerships, and governance models necessary to scale up sustainable and competitive mobility solutions, addressing critical areas like climate, innovation, and the enabling conditions for local delivery.

As the EU transitions into the core phase of its next institutional cycle, the event will seek to align funding, regulation, and technical support with the realities on the ground, ensuring that EU policy frameworks are responsive to local needs. Insights from cities, regional authorities, startups, and innovation ecosystems like EIT Urban Mobility will highlight what is working, where more support is needed, and how the transition can be scaled effectively.

Scheduled for 24 September 2025, the event will open its doors at 17.00, starting with a welcome apéro. Formal speeches and panel discussions will begin at 17.45 and the programme will conclude by 20.00. Attendance is free of charge. Register now and save the date!
