Global Mobility Call 2026 (GMC) will hold its fourth edition from June 9 to 11, 2026, at IFEMA MADRID.
The event will combine a conference and exhibition format to foster strategic networking, technological innovation, and collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The 2026 edition will address the structural challenges shaping the sector’s current transformation: electrification and the rollout of charging infrastructure, the promotion of urban mobility, public transport and multimodality, as well as digitalisation, artificial intelligence and advanced data management. Critical issues such as road safety, accessibility, financing and the governance of new mobility ecosystems will also be examined.
The programme will be organised around cross-cutting thematic areas that integrate industrial, technological, urban and social perspectives. The event will bring together institutional leaders, operators, automotive companies and technology players, reinforcing its role as a platform for dialogue between governments and the private sector.
EIT Urban Mobility participation
EIT Urban Mobility will partner with the event to curate and run two practical sessions in which city officials, mobility professionals, and private-sector partners will openly share what’s worked — and what hasn’t — when rolling out urban mobility solutions across Europe. Expect real stories and concrete examples on topics like shared and low‑emission mobility, integrating charging and energy, using data to manage transport, and governance approaches that make public–private cooperation actually work.
The sessions will have a distinctly European angle, highlighting projects, EU initiatives and solutions that can be adapted by cities of different sizes.
The goal is simple: help cities and companies learn from each other, speed up the adoption of proven solutions, and build connections that lead to real collaboration and funding opportunities.
