Event details

EIT Urban Mobility is joining the 4th Edition of Future City Tech in Říčany!

The Future City Tech Conference brings together innovators, municipal leaders, and researchers to explore how modern technology can support sustainable development and smart mobility in towns and regions.

Collaborating for impact

This year’s conference will focus on the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and community-scale implementation, emphasizing practical solutions, real-world applications, and cross-sector knowledge sharing. Moreover, the conference will explore how digital tools, green technologies, and data-driven strategies can enable municipalities to build more efficient and environmentally friendly cities.

The first block, named Innovation to Nature, will explore how modern technologies can serve as effective tools in protecting the environment at the municipal and regional level. The second block, Shared Transport in Municipalities and Regions, will address shared transportation solutions such as car-sharing and bike-sharing schemes, as well as emerging models like ride pooling and micro-mobility services.

Through case studies, expert presentations, and interactive discussion, the conference will provide a platform for exchanging experiences, showcasing best practices, and fostering collaboration between cities, technology providers, and research institutions. Attendees will gain insights into how experts tailor innovative tools and strategies to meet the specific needs of municipalities and regions.

Showcasing innovation

Furthermore, during the conference, E-mobility Rentals and PID (Pražská integrovaná doprava) will showcase their latest innovations in sustainable transport. E-mobility Rentals will present their fleet of electric vehicles, including e-bikes, e-scooters, and compact city EVs. In addition, PID will introduce their new project, PID Haló, a demand-responsive transport concept that reimagines public mobility. Unlike traditional transit systems, PID Haló operates without fixed routes or timetables but rather dynamically generates routes in real time based on actual passenger demand, delivering a highly flexible and efficient transportation alternative.
