eMobility Expo World Congress

Event details

In a time when the world is facing challenges marked by geopolitical shifts and economic turbulence, eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW 2026 returns as a beacon of progress, positioning itself as the driving appointment to the development of the eMobility sector in shaping the sustainability of transportation.

Europe needs to reach the goal of being the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, so the EU has a variety of strategies in place to meet the sustainability goals for the continent that are related to the mobility sector. However, recent global economic and political developments have affected this strategy, and rising inflation in Europe has changed how some industries operate.

EIT Urban Mobility at MOW2026

EIT Urban Mobility is proud to curate two headline sessions at MOW26 Málaga, spotlighting two of the hottest mobility-themed challenges of our time: urban logistics and hydrogen for mobility, bringing together top key players to deliver high-impact discussions, evidence-based solutions, and concrete pathways to implementation.

Building a Hydrogen Value Chain: Where Is Transport to M Logistics Viable?

Date    10/03/2026      |   Time    16.00 – 16.40
Track    eMobility World Congress  |  Room    Auditorium 2

Green hydrogen is widely recognised as a key enabler for the decarbonisation of heavy mobility, logistics and port operations. Despite strong political support and growing industry interest, many hydrogen projects still struggle to transition from pilot phase to commercially viable solutions.

This panel, moderated by Andrea Costa (Strategic Lead – Electrification and Alternative Fuels, EIT Urban Mobility), brings together key players across the hydrogen value chain — from renewable hydrogen production and energy infrastructure, to mobility solutions and port operations — to address the central question facing the sector today: where should we start to unlock viable hydrogen business models? Which mobility and logistics segments are a viable option for hydrogen today? Under which conditions? What is still missing?

Moderator: Andrea Costa, EIT Urban Mobility

Speakers:

  • ENAGAS – SCALE GREEN ENERGY : Gonzalo Gutiérrez Botella Director Scale Green
  • HVR: Santi Ramas, Director HVR
  • EVARM: Xavier Ribas Director EVARM

Decarbonised urban logistics: from promise to reality

Date    11/03/2026      |   Time    11.30 – 12.10
Track    eMobility World Congress  |  Room    Auditorium 2

Urban logistics is at a turning point: moving from isolated pilots to scalable solutions. At this roundtable, moderated by Sergi Milan (Innovation Advisor, EIT Urban Mobility), we will bring together leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss which policies, investments, and partnerships are accelerating the decarbonisation of the last mile and urban supply chains. We will review key technologies — electrification, microhubs, data and AI, charging infrastructure, intermodality — and recent success stories. We will also address remaining barriers: regulation, costs, operational integration and public acceptance. We will present funding and collaboration opportunities within the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem.

Moderator: Sergi Milán, EIT Urban Mobility

  • SEUR: Julie-Marie Urban, Head of Sustainability, Sustainability Manager, People and Sustainability Department
  • MOOEVO: Jordi Escruela, Deputy Chief Executive Officer
