EIT Urban Mobility Market Dialogue: AI and Mobility Data

Event details

EIT Urban Mobility, Milestone Systems and IT University Copenhagen are hosting a Market Dialogue exploring how AI and mobility data can help cities address the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Cities are generating growing amounts of mobility data from cameras, sensors, connected vehicles, public transport and other sources. At the same time, many face challenges in accessing, combining and making effective use of this data. AI could help turn these data sources into actionable insights, supporting areas such as traffic management, demand forecasting, infrastructure design and maintenance.

This EIT Urban Mobility Market Dialogue will bring together cities, technology providers and mobility organisations to identify where better use of mobility data and AI could address concrete urban mobility needs, what barriers currently stand in the way and where collaboration with the market could help. Discussions will also explore key questions around data access, interoperability, privacy, governance and innovation procurement, guided by the following three themes: from video and sensor data to reliable mobility evidence, from fragmented data to a useful picture of mobility and from mobility evidence to better decisions and action.
